The Port Washington Police Department is a problem-solving agency. We seek to improve our environment by reducing and/or eliminating opportunities for crime. Our officers engage in Problem Oriented Policing as part of our fundamental mission. We have a talented and dedicated workforce of men and women that pride themselves in customer service. We value the numerous partnerships we have established within our community as a method of sharing responsibility in preventing crime and disorder.
